Two unrelated quadding accidents sent two people to hospital on Saturday in Central Alberta.
STARS Air Ambulance spokesman Cam Heke said the first accident occurred around 6 p.m. about 45 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House near Cow Lake.
STARS airlifted a 55-year-old female patient in serious condition as a result of a quadding accident to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.
A mere 22 minutes later, STARS responded to another quadding accident about 68 km west of Rocky Mountain House, where they transported a 31-year-old female patient to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
