Two hopefuls are in the running to join Rimbey town council. Scott Ellis and Wayne Clark have put their names forward for the July 9 byelection.
The new councillor will fill the vacant spot left by former councillor Joe Anglin, who stepped down in April to run in the provincial election. Anglin was elected to represent Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House -Sundre for the Wildrose Party.
The advance poll is set for July 4.
