THREE HILLS — The Red Deer Vipers jumped into a 5-1 first-period lead and coasted to a 6-3 victory over the Three Hills Thrashers in Heritage Junior B Hockey League exhibition play Saturday.
David Foord, Maverick Blair, Brennan Leslie, Mario Cote, Pat Amell and Brennan Tymtsyhn scored for the Vipers. Scott Bell, Justin Daines and Aaron Neumeier replied for the Thrashers.
