Kicking off the start of a 12 hour relay Cancer survivors make the first lap of the course at the Relay For Life on Friday evening.
Held at the Cross Roads Church just west of Red Deer about 500 volunteers and team members walked laps all through the night in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Organizers of the 11th Annual Relay For Life in Red Deer hoped to raise $230,000 during the event.
