Tanya Read, the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame’s collections and exhibits co-ordinator, readies Calgary broadcaster Henry Viney’s Second World War helmet and dog tags for the new display Victory On The Field. The mannequins behind show, from left, an All American Professional Girls Baseball League replica uniform, the Royal Canadian Legion boxing title belt, a Lethbridge Maple Leafs hockey jersey and a Canadian infantry soldier’s uniform on loan from the Red Deer Royal Canadian Legion. The exhibit opens on Saturday and will run for the next two years.
