A ward system is needed in Red Deer.
We need a system where you can vote against a councillor you feel is not doing a good job.
We can’t keep raising taxes four to five per cent a year because it hurts the taxpayer. Council has to live within their budget.
Some people already have a hard time paying their taxes.
We need a ward system with one councillor to a ward. If he or she is not doing a good job for the taxpayer, then get someone to run against him or her in the next election.
