Water management seminar rescheduled

An environmental science and policy seminar about the future of water management that was cancelled for the end of April has now been rescheduled for May 28.

An environmental science and policy seminar about the future of water management that was cancelled for the end of April has now been rescheduled for May 28.

Hosted by the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance, the seminar runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at 4920, 59th St. and is facilitated by Sustainability Resources Ltd. as part of their 2012 sustainability series.

It will look into the role of evidence-based decision making when it comes to municipal resource and water management.

Led by Carla Davidson, the presentation will also delve into case studies such as the relationship between drinking water and hydraulic fracking.

Registration for government and industry workers is $200.

For non-profits and citizens, registration is $100.
