A female mallard duck doesn’t seem to mind the rain as it rests on the water at Red Deer’s Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary during an afternoon rainstorm this week. Although rainstorms have been rolling through the Red Deer area with too much frequency this summer, weather forecasts are calling for highs of 24C and sun through the weekend.
