I would like to see as many Red Deer residents as possible write or email our new Premier Alison Redford and make sure she knows we have two closed nursing homes here that we would like reopened.
They are desperately needed. We don’t just need letters from seniors; 40- and 50-year-olds are going to end up looking after their aging parents in their own homes.
Ignoring the situation now is going to seriously impact their own future. Say goodbye to Arizona. You’ll be having to stay here and look after your sick parents. The time to act is now.
