The Irving Berlin musical — as anyone who’s seen the movie with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye will know — tells what happens when two former army buddies-turned-entertainers team up with two performing sisters for a Christmas show in Vermont.

Staging the musical from Dec. 2 to 10 is a huge endeavour by the Klaglahachie Fine Arts Society. Besides the cast of nearly four-dozen actors, it entails a tech crew of 100, as well as 150 handmade costumes.

The show, directed by Sheila Cooke, can be seen with or without a dinner option at the Ponoka United Church.

Dinner theatre shows run from 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10. Tickets are $40.

Performance-only shows are available on the same dates at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Matinee performances are from 2 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 11. Tickets are $20.
