After witnessing Omar Khadr’s friendly demeanour and his straightforward answers before the TV cameras, I am drawn to the inescapable conclusion that either he is the greatest actor since Olivier, or that Stephen Harper, in his full-throated condemnation of the man, is even worse that I thought he might be; to wit, nothing more or less than an unprincipled political thug without a speck of humanity.
