Notre Dame High School students Michelle Roth, left, and Nicole Willson sell T-shirts to Nolan Bruin and Sasha Ward before a benefit hockey game at the Red Deer Arena on Monday night.
The Winning for Willms event — held in memory of Notre Dame student Kale Williams — was hosted by the Notre Dame Final Grad Service Project.
During a week of activities, the grad service project hopes to raise $45,000 for Suicide Information and Education Services.
The evening featured a silent auction and the AAA Midget Optimist Chiefs played a game wearing jerseys emblazoned with Kale Williams initials.
Kale’s parents, Dean and Nicole Williams, dropped the ceremonial puck to start the game.
Anyone interested in helping the group meet its goal can make a donation at the school or call 403-342-4800.
