CALGARY — An 82-year-old woman has died from injuries she received when a man on in-line skates crashed into her in a Calgary park last week.
The 20-year-old was going down a hill and trying to make a tight corner when he collided with the woman.
She was knocked to the ground and hit her head.
The senior was rushed to hospital with critical injuries and died Monday.
The city’s parks department is doing a safety review and a police investigation also continues.
Park users are calling for better and more signage on pathways.
