Lethbridge police say the woman drove her mobility aid scooter into an intersection Tuesday morning against the crossing signal and hit the truck.

She went under the semi, but the driver was able to quickly stop the rig.

The woman suffered head injuries and abrasions but was expected to be released from hospital Tuesday night.
