GRANDE PRAIRIE — A woman in northwestern Alberta whose Rottweiler bit a three-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to an animal control infraction.
Chantell Arnold was fined $200 under a Grande Prairie bylaw.
Caidynce King required 150 stitches to her face and had to be hospitalized when she was mauled by the dog in May.
The girl, who was playing with the dog while her parents were playing baseball, was bitten when she fell on the animal.
The Rottweiler was tied up under the bleachers.
