CALGARY — A Calgary woman has been fined $3,000 after her pit bull attacked three people.
Last May, a man was attacked while sitting on a chair on his front lawn and was bitten on the legs, hand and face.
A month later the same dog mauled two young sisters who were playing in a park.
Brenda Louise Byer was fined $1,000 for each attack — the maximum penalty is $10,000 per count.
The dog has since been put down.
