The body of a woman was found in Red Deer on Wednesday morning and RCMP are investigating it as a suspicious death.
At 9:28 a.m. Red Deer RCMP responded to a complaint of a deceased woman located within the city limits. The RCMP General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section were called to assist with the investigation.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning. Red Deer City RCMP said no further details will be released until the completion of the autopsy.
