LEDUC — A 48-year-old woman can expect to spend up to the next six Christmas seasons behind bars for a series of robberies in the Edmonton area last year.
Laurie Bell was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison in provincial court for the robberies that happened just before Christmas.
She had been facing close to 20 charges for hitting businesses in Beaumont, Nisku, and Leduc.
