Border Paving trackhoes excavate the roadbed of eastbound 32nd Street this week. The work is part of altering college traffic access by replacing College Boulevard with a one-way road aligned with 57th Avenue and a one-way out access aligned to match up with 55th Avenue with traffic lights at both intersections. Other improvements for the project expected to take until October to finish include lane widening, new crosswalks, upgrading the 32nd Street sidewalk to a three-metre-wide asphalt trail, tree planting and improved street lighting. 32nd Street has been reduced to a single lane in each direction while the works progresses.
