CALGARY — The name of the man who fell to his death at the Calgary International Airport has been released.
Murgappa Naiker died Monday morning after he fell out of a cherry picker.
The 52-year-old was de-icing the plane when he fell.
A spokesperson for the union says Naiker may not have been wearing a safety harness.
An investigation is underway to determine what lead to the fall.
Naiker leaves behind his wife and two adult children who live in Vancouver.
