Each team scored twice in the first and third periods, but the visitors notched the lone second-period marker. Mik Doell, Andrew McLennan, Chase Thudium and Ty Mappin scored for the Rebels White, while Rylan Bardick made 30 saves.

Meanwhile, the Rebels Black dropped one game and tied another.

Colton Levie, Trey deGraaf, Ryan Swier and Gabe Bast scored for Red Deer in a 4-4 draw with the host Calgary Northstars Sunday. Brody Dirk made saves for the Rebels Black.

On Saturday, the Rebels Black dropped a 5-3 decision to the visiting Okotoks Oilers, getting goals from Tyler Steenbergen, Jordan Steenbergen and Teegan Kooman and a 31-save outing from Joey Desrosiers.
