Elected politicians are stewards of our society.
These people make choices and decisions which determine our fate.
We trust them to do so.
Premier Jim Prentice seems right when he suggests that we should only look in the mirror to see who is responsible for our present demise.
Indeed, but the suggestion in my mind should really be:
“Look in the mirror, Albertans, to see the persons who are responsible for electing the same party to power for 40 years and not provided a healthy opposition to monitor, criticize and suggest better ways to do the job.”
Trust is not enough.
