Young people of Red Deer set a fine example

Recently, my husband and I arrived in Red Deer, looking for the dinner theatre production by Central Alberta Theatre Society (CATS) Fishing for Frank.

Recently, my husband and I arrived in Red Deer, looking for the dinner theatre production by Central Alberta Theatre Society (CATS) Fishing for Frank.

The address we had was totally incorrect, off by a long way, and we had no way of figuring out what to do next.

We stopped three young people pulling into a parking lot and asked for help.

They immediately and happily said “Oh, we know where you should be. Just follow us.”

And with that, they led us some distance to downtown to the City Centre Stage and we were able to enjoy the production.

We are so grateful to those young people who came to our aid. Red Deer folks can be proud that civic minded, courteous youngsters are alive and well in your city, willing to help visitors any way they can.

Most thankfully,

John and Terry Kubin
