Innisfail RCMP arrest four people after numerous break-and-enters

Innisfail RCMP have arrested four individuals after a number of break and enters in the area.

Police said between Jan. 8 and 20 they responded to several break-ins, including a garage, travel trailer and truck, from which numerous tools were stolen. After investigating, police believed the crimes were linked.

Last Friday, Innisfail RCMP searched a property at 49a Avenue and recovered stolen tools from the break and enters as well as other property including electronics, and a stolen BMW.

Two people from Red Deer, a 41-year-old and a 31-year-old were arrested and charged with traffic in property obtained by crime and possession of stolen property.

Both will appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer on Feb. 14.

Two Innisfail residents, a 34-year-old and a 35-year-old have been charged with possession of stolen property and possession of stolen identity documents.

Both will appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer on Feb. 20.
