Alcohol may have been factor in single rollover near Olds

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover near Olds last month, RCMP officers said Thursday.

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover near Olds last month, RCMP officers said Thursday.

The crash occurred on Aug. 29, on Highway 2 south of Highway 27.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a heavily damaged vehicle in the median.

A 48-year-old male and a seven-year-old child were injured in the crash and taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

According to a news release, police believe alcohol may have been a factor and charges are pending.
