Red Deer RCMP made what they say is a significant seizure during a traffic stop.
RCMP said at 3:57 a.m. Monday, they stopped a vehicle on 67th Street, where the driver was arrested after he provided a false identity.
During a search of the vehicle, RCMP seized a shotgun, more than $3,000 in cash and what was believed to be methamphetamine, as well as other items typically associated with illicit drugs.
Billy Kirk Okeynan, 31, and Kelly Dawn Manson, 32, each face a number of criminal charges.
Both of the accused will appear in Red Deer provincial court in coming days.
