Red Deer College has unveiled a new virtual tour of its campus.

In a news release Wednesday, RDC officials said that while students are allowed back on campus, the virtual tour provides another option for those not quite ready to see it in person.

“This is an ideal time to launch an interactive virtual tour experience,” said RDC president Dr. Peter Nunoda. “We’re absolutely excited to return to more in-person teaching and college experiences in fall term, but we recognize that not everyone can come to campus at that time, whether this is because of where they live or their level of comfort. This virtual tour bridges the gap to allow everyone to experience RDC in their own way.”

Students and prospective students who view the tour can go through different spaces on campus, viewing each area from a large-scale perspective, while also learning about specific details and topics.

There are more than 100 different areas featured on the tour, with more set to be added in the near future. To view the virtual tour, visit virtualtour.rdc.ab.ca.
