The 2023 Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home finally has an owner.

Joe Eufemia and his family, of Red Deer, won the grand prize, worth $810,000 with furnishings, during Wednesday’s draw.

Located at 388 Timberlands Dr., the 1,847-square-foot home, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a double attached garage, was built by Alair Homes.

Eufemia wasn’t at home on Thursday night when Red Deer Kinsmen members dropped by to let him know he was the big winner. But his wife Kelly was, so she got to tour the dream home.

“I was on a video call with her while she was walking through the house. She loves it,” Eufemia said.

He said it’s still hard to believe his luck.

“Things like this don’t happen to me. You always dream of it, or wish it, or say if only. It’s pretty crazy.”

Time is running out to buy Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery tickets

Eufemia has bought Kinsmen tickets in several times in the past, but doesn’t buy them every year. So far he’s only seen photos of the home, and looked forward to stepping inside soon.

The family will decide in the near future whether to move or sell their prize.
