Daisy is still missing, and her owner is giving up hope the pet will ever be found.
Sharon Roberts, of Red Deer, said her 10-year-old Bichon-Shih Tzu went missing around supper time on May 30 after a delivery person left the gate to her yard open.
“We’ve done absolutely everything — a reward, police file, handed out posters. She’s still missing. Nothing has changed,” Roberts said Friday.
Daisy has been like a therapy dog to Roberts, who has fibromyalgia.
“She is very well behaved. She’s near perfect a dog as you can have.”

Roberts said she can’t stop worrying that someone may be hurting her dog.
“That’s my biggest fear.”
The 3.6-kilogram animal has cream and white fur, with some black fur on her ears. A $2,000 reward has been offered.

Red Deer RCMP said anyone with information about Daisy can call the detachment at 403-343-5575.
