Police have charged a 30-year-old from Wetaskiwin after he allegedly pointed a gun at two employees at a business.
On Dec. 2, the male allegedly entered the business, pointed what is believed to be a firearm at two employees, ran out of the building and fled the scene in a truck later determined to be stolen from a business in Leduc. Both employees were not physically injured.
The man was located a short time later and faces a number of charges, including use firearm in commission of offence, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, carrying concealed weapon, possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized, theft of motor vehicle, break and enter, fail to comply with release order and possession contrary to order.
He will appear in Wetaskiwin provincial court on Dec. 17.
