Mixed results for RDC Curling at CCAA Nationals

The RDC Curling teams are in the weeds after a tough weekend at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Curling National Championships in Leduc.

The Queens are 2-2 and sit in fifth place out of eight teams, while the Kings are 0-4 after draw 4.

The Queens picked up an 8-5 win in Draw 3 on Sunday morning and topped the Camosun College Chargers 11-7 in Draw 2 for their first victory of the event. Their two losses were against the Niagara Knights and Fanshawe Falcons.

The Kings dropped a high scoring 11-9 game to the University of Augustana Vikings in the fourth draw. They also lost to NAIT, Concordia University of Edmonton and the Sault College Cougars.

Play continues on Monday and the semi-finals are Tuesday afternoon.
