The Olds Grizzlys are staying the course for the 2019-20 Alberta Junior Hockey League season.

They announce this week that Joe Murphy will return as general manager and head coach. Murphy, in his first year at the helm, led the Grizzlys to a 6-51-3 regular season mark and a last-place finish in the south division.

Pete DeGraaf returns as an assistant coach and Chance Szott is the assistant coach in charge of skill development.

Earlier this month, the Grizzlys also announced the signing of three players for the upcoming year. They picked up Noah Hackett, a 2001-born forward who played for the Leduc AAA Oil Kings last season.

They also added Tye Scherger, a 2001-born forward who played for the Battleford Stars in the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League. Forward Colton Koran, an ‘03 forward, will join the fold next year as well, after playing five games as an affiliate with the Grizzlys last year.
