Max Sekulic and Brendan MacDougall ensured there wouldn’t be an all-Central Alberta final at the Alberta Match Play Championships at River Spirit Golf Club in Calgary.
MacDougall, the defending champion at the event needed to extra holes to knock off Springbrook native Chandler McDowell in the semis, while Sekulic defeated Red Deer’s Jace Ouellette 5&4.
After being 3 down with 3 to go defending champion Brendan MacDougall comes back to defeat Chandler McDowell on the 2nd playoff hole.
