Eileen Park’s trophy case is getting fuller by the day.

The 12-year-old from Red Deer collected her seventh win on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour Wednesday, shooting an 80 in a rain-soaked event at Wintergreen Golf Club. Park, 12, won the U15 girls division by seven strokes over Jordan Harvey of Calgary.

The 36-hole competition was shortened to 18 holes due to rain.

Innisfail’s Brae Rogalczyk, 13, shot 77 in the bantam boys category to finish second, three strokes back of Calgary’s Charlie Gillespie. Sylvan Lake’s Avery Shadbolt was tied for sixth with an 82.

Stettler’s Shay Anderson, 17, also had a strong tournament, finishing tied for fourth in the junior boys age group, with a 77. He finished five strokes back of the winner.

The Alberta Junior Tour next heads to Medicine Hat for the MJT Alberta Series at Desert Blume Golf Club on August 30 and 31.
