Red Deer knocked off the Medicine Hat Cubs Sunday to earn their second straight win in Heritage Junior B Hockey League play.

Justin Paarup notched a hat trick, while Easton Roberts and Jarvis Gaume also scored in the 5-2 win over the Cubs. Dawson Weatherill picked up the victory between the pipes.

Saturday, the Vipers knocked off the Coaldale Copperheads 6-2.

Veteran forward Keaton Sawicki had a night to remember, scoring four goals and adding an assist in the victory. Matias Letwin and Rylan Burns also had goals, while Justin Anderson made 37 saves for the win in net. Paarup also had two assists for Red Deer.
